Dubai’s rotating skyscraper!

I could visualize the world like those in sci-fi movies with flying objects on the highway on the sky for “day to day” travels. Are we getting there?

Well nothing’s gonna stop Dubai’s amazing development. This time planned and ready for constuction is the Dynamic tower, world’s first building that rotates while people inside revolve in luxury.  The 80-story tower that is designed by an Italian architect will have revolving floors that give it an ever-shifting shape. It is the world’s first, let’s celebrate it in Dubai.

Fraudulent PayPal Emails

Jun 18, 2008 Author: bluegreen butterfly | Filed under: Computers

Paypal security seal I had received some emails these last few weeks about PayPal account. I knew someone who got real PayPal email about account security and these emails I got almost contain the same message, though some in different language. Of course they are fraudulent! For one, I don’t have PayPal account with my email address they were sending it to. There is no contest in that. And if you have, they will eventually get your PayPal username and password or financial information and take over your account, which never you should share. Never ever click any links or attachments in a suspicious email. Their website scam as they are can be tricky and might confuse you at first with Paypal.com. If PayPal requests your information, you can do so after you securely login to their site, https://www.. Take note of the “s” for secure site.

Some Security Tips and Fraud Prevention from PayPal.

Trip to Houston

Jun 17, 2008 Author: admin | Filed under: Travels

Hello friends it has been a while. I am back and thanks for the messages and for visiting. Our last trip was towards Houston, Texas. From central Louisiana we left at one o’clock in the morning in order to beat the late morning and afternoon traffic in and out of Houston. We were picking up some construction materials from a certain company. It is better kasi to pick them up there than to be shipped to our house for in the long run, we could save good amount, and besides, we love to travel. On our way hubby pulled his unused acytelene tank on the trailer for his brother so we stopped at DeQuincy before daylight. We arrived to the company compounds in Houston just as we planned. And with the time we have, we could make it back without delay. These were what we traveled for, there were 8 of them rolling doors.

But our patience was tested in the heat on our way back. A hundred miles ahead one lane was closed so we were stuck in traffic for three good sun hours. It was so hot and the traffic congestion was endless. We just loosen up and observed the people, truck drivers going out of their vehicles for impatience and curiosity.

Three hours was so long a time to be stuck in a very long traffic. But we were glad we reached home without any difficulty with the things we pulled by the truck.

Better than all great riches

Jun 15, 2008 Author: bluegreen butterfly | Filed under: arts and culture

Today we went to the church. I was blessed with the sermon about how important good name or a good reputation is. It is stated in proverbs that “A good name is better than all great riches”. It is very important to have it because we are carrying God’s name in our name. We also pass on our name to our children.
