In the hotel lounge while waiting for Paul to pick me up for another day of tour. Paul was one of hubby’s partners driver there whom he offered us for chauffer services for free, a very nice courtesy.

Frontier trivia of the day:

India is the world’s largest producer of licit opium for the pharmaceutical trade

Now this is Paul the good driver and tour guide. This was taken outside of the hotel along Juhu beach. We had a little confusion since at that time I couldn’t get the pictures printed out, and I know we like to have our own pictures, I know he treasured it, but I ended up emailing them back to his friend. They were nice.

Frontier trivia the day:

India does not recognize Pakistan’s ceding historic Kashmir lands to China in 1964; to defuse tensions and prepare for discussions on a maritime boundary, India and Pakistan seek technical resolution of the disputed boundary in Sir Creek estuary at the mouth of the Rann of Kutch in the Arabian Sea

Meet Paul the driver

Namashtè. Now meet Paul the driver. He was a good driver, and patient too, for a tourist like me. He was ‘educating’ me about what he knew of India and the landmarks that were seeing. I appreciated it. there is nothing better than learning it from the local people. Of course we communicated by English language.

Frontier trivia the day:

the average life expectancy of Indian people is 68.28 years. Males expected at 66.28 and 71.17 years of age for females.

The service driver

Meet Munjit, the driver. Opps, we can’t see him here. But you notice that indeed the vehicles in India are right-hand drive. Munjit was the company driver when I was there. He wears a white turban around his head. He was picking me up to hubby’s workplace for a visit and tour. Mumbai is very large and it would take us an average of an hour to get through our destination pass through the endless traffic and blowing of horns.

Frontier trivia the day:

India gained its independence in 15 August 1947 through the nonviolent resistance to British colonialism led by Mohandas Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru.
