Weekend Snapshot 26: This man in New Orleans


You can see this man about any street in New Orleans, with his li’l pup, posing for people to be entertained with his curvy long strides. The white bucket is for his earnings on the street. Good business; you just don’t move any muscle; at the end of the day, his is the last laugh
Safe and Secured. I’m up high here, you can not steal me. Who would dare?
There are many people who steal things, and don’t forgive even construction equipments, especially portable ones. So construction team end up securing and hanging the tools with the crane. They would have to struggle if they really want to steal the equipments. Worth the theft effort? This was taken during our trip to New Orleans during our swamp tour.
Frontier trivia of the day:
One of LoJack’s Guide to Theft Protection is to park equipment close together and in a circle if feasible, with smaller pieces in the center; chain small equipment to larger equipment
Which way in New Orleans? Most of the New Orleans land is below the sea level so you can see a lot of bodies of water there and they get flooded easily. They kept saying us that everything in New Orleans is unique even their way of calling directions. They described directions with respect to the waters, which weave around the city: lakeside means toward Lake Pontchartrain; riverside means toward the Mississippi River; upriver refers to Uptown; and downriver refers to Downtown.
